Noise normally comes from friction or looseness, not from the motor alone. Common causes are dry or sand-clogged rollers, loose hinges, tracks pulled slightly out of line, worn springs and a chain drive that needs adjustment. In Dubai, dust settles in tracks and hardens old grease, which makes rollers scrape. Check for visible bolts that have loosened and listen for whether the noise follows the door or the motor. Usually you replace the battery, then pair the remote again by pressing the learn button on the opener and pressing the remote button within the time shown in the manual. Many remotes keep their memory, so a fresh battery is all that is needed. If the remote still fails, test it at close range to rule out weak signal, and check whether the opener has lost its memory after a power cut.
