Shopfront doors, shutters and entrances for Dubai retail

A shop door has two jobs: let customers in without friction while open, and lock the unit securely when closed. We supply sliding shopfront doors, rolling shutters and mall service doors, and fit them outside trading hours so you keep selling.

Malls and retail

What retail doors have to do

Unit, kiosk or whole mall, the same questions come up.

  • Welcome at the thresholdA shopfront sliding door with a wide opening and a sensor that does not wait for the customer to stop.
  • Secure after closingA rolling shutter or grille locks the unit, and can be opened from inside or by a key switch.
  • Back-of-house deliveriesService corridors and stockrooms need tough doors that tolerate trolleys.
  • Fit-out windowsMall management often permits work only at set hours. We plan to them.
  • Cool air stays inDoors that close promptly after each customer hold the cooled air inside.
  • Peak footfallWeekend and event crowds test the sensor and the motor more than a quiet day.

Every closed shutter is a locked shop.

How the job runs

From first message to handover in malls and retail

  1. Check the lease and mall rules

Tell us the mall or building. Fit-out rules, working hours and approvals vary and are yours to confirm with management.

  2. Survey and written quote

We measure the opening, note the frame and the power point, and quote each door separately.

  3. Out-of-hours fitting

Frames, motors and sensors are installed when the unit is closed.

  4. Test before opening

Sensors, locks, manual release and shutter stops are tested, then the unit is handed back.

Retail doors by position

A unit has an entrance, a closing system and a service side. Pick the one you are planning.

Shopfront

Sliding glass doors in a frame, usually with a breakout feature for escape. Sensors detect people approaching.

Closing shutters

Rolling shutters over the shopfront or between units, with a motor and manual override.

Back of house

Loading doors, dock levelers and service access.

Mall car park

Barriers, ticketing and bollards.

Retail safety

  • Sensors that detect children and trolleys at the threshold
  • Breakout or escape feature on shopfront sliding doors where the design uses it
  • Shutter stop devices that react to obstruction
  • Manual release at every motorised shutter

Landlord and building management set escape-route rules. We plan with them.
