How can I fix a rolling shutter that is jammed?
Do not force it. Check for an obstruction in the guides or a slat that has come out of its track, and use the manual override if it has one. A jam is often a bent guide, a worn motor or a slipped slat.
Never climb on the shutter or force it by hand. Photograph the guides and the box, and tell us when it last worked well.
