Who we are

Mount Everest Automatic Doors is a Dubai company that works on one kind of thing: the doors and gates that open and close by themselves. That covers automatic garage doors, sliding and swing gates, rolling shutters, glass sliding and revolving doors, barriers, bollards, dock levelers and the control gear behind them, such as motors, remotes, sensors and control boards.

Our base is in Al Quoz, an area of workshops, showrooms and warehouses in the middle of the city. That position matters in a practical way. Dubai is long and spread out, and a technician who starts from the centre reaches most districts without crossing the whole emirate first. We take enquiries from every part of Dubai, from villas in the new communities to towers in the business districts, and from industrial sites in the south-west to older streets near the creek.

We are a company that answers on the phone and on WhatsApp, which are the same number: +971 50 494 8667. Email goes to Email us. You can reach us by whichever route is easiest at the moment your gate stops halfway or your shutter jams.

Shutters and industrial doors

Rolling shutters, double skin insulated doors, high speed doors and dock levelers for shops, warehouses and logistics sites. See high speed doors and dock levelers.

04How we work

From first message to after-care, in plain steps

Most jobs follow the same six steps. Nothing on this list is hidden or optional for you.

  1. 1. You get in touch

Call, message on WhatsApp, use the quote form, or send a photo of the door or gate. Tell us what it does or what you want it to do, and the area of Dubai it is in.

  2. 2. We read what you sent

We look at the photo and your notes and ask anything missing, such as the brand on the motor, the opening width, or whether the gate is in a shared community.

  3. 3. Site visit

A technician comes to the site, measures the opening, checks the structure, the power supply and the safety devices, and sees how people and vehicles use the entrance. The visit is free.

  4. 4. Written quote

You receive a quote in writing that lists the equipment, the work and what is not included. We do not quote fixed figures by phone, because the site decides the job.

  5. 5. Installation or repair

Once you approve the quote, we agree a date and do the work. After fitting, we test the full cycle, the safety sensors and the remotes before we call it finished.

  6. 6. Handover and after-care

We show you how the system works and how to release it by hand. If something is not right afterwards, call or message the same number and we look into it.

What we need from you, and what you get from us

The more we know before the visit, the quicker the visit goes. A photo of the whole door or gate in daylight, a close photo of the motor or control box, the brand if you know it, the approximate opening width, and your area are usually enough.

In return you get a person who comes to look, a quote that is written down, a clear list of what is and is not included, and a contact who picks up afterwards. If a job needs permission from your landlord, building management or community, we tell you so before work starts, because that approval is yours to request and we do not want it to delay a booked visit.

Where we work in Dubai

We serve all of Dubai from our base in Al Quoz. Dubai is grouped below into twelve zones. Each zone links to example areas, and every area has its own page with local notes on building types, access and common needs. If your area is not listed, ask us. The list of areas is long and grows as we add pages.

Safety and standards we work to

An automatic door or gate is a machine that moves near people and cars, so safety is part of every job and not an extra.

  • Moving doors and gates must stop or reverse when something is in the way. We fit and test photocells, safety edges and obstruction detection as part of the job, and we do not switch safety devices off to make a fault go away.
  • Garage door springs and cables are under heavy tension. We do not advise owners to adjust them, and our technicians treat them as a job for trained hands.
  • Every gate and door should have a way to be released by hand in a power cut. We show you where it is and how it works at handover.
  • Doors on escape routes, or doors linked to a fire alarm, have to work with the building's fire and life-safety arrangements. We plan those jobs together with building management and tell you what approval is needed.
  • We follow the installation instructions of the manufacturer for the equipment we fit.

These are working practices, not certifications. We do not claim a certificate we cannot show you. If your building or tender needs specific documents, tell us at the start and we will say plainly what we can and cannot provide.

11Questions

Questions people ask us before they book

All questions and answers

Where are you based and which areas do you visit?
Our base is in Al Quoz, Dubai. We take enquiries and arrange visits across Dubai, including the central business districts, the coast, the marina area, the creek, Jebel Ali and Dubai South, the new communities and the eastern districts. Each area has its own page on this site with notes on what is typical there. If you are not sure whether we cover your street, send the area name and we will confirm.
What do you install and repair?
Automatic garage doors, sliding and swing gates, rolling shutters, high speed doors, dock levelers, glass sliding and revolving doors, barriers, bollards, turnstiles and parking locks, along with gate motors, remotes, safety sensors and control boards. We also work with access control, intercoms and CCTV where a site needs them. Each has its own page under Services.
How does a job start, and do I need to send a photo?
You can call, message on WhatsApp or use the quote form. A photo is not compulsory, but it helps. A picture of the whole door or gate and one of the motor or control box lets us ask the right questions before the visit. Without a photo we simply ask a few more questions on the phone.
Is the site visit free, and will I get a quote in writing?
Yes to both. A technician visits the site, measures and checks what the job needs, and you then receive a written quote. The visit does not oblige you to go ahead.
Can you give me a figure over the phone?
We do not give fixed figures by phone or message. Opening size, weight, motor type, how often the entrance is used, access control, finish and site access all change a quote, so a number given without seeing the site would be a guess. The written quote after the visit is the figure you can rely on.
Do you work with my brand of motor or door?
We handle many of the common makes, and the brand pages on this site list the ones in our catalogue. If your equipment is not listed, send a photo of the label or motor and we will tell you honestly whether we can repair it, whether parts are likely to be available, or whether replacing the unit makes more sense.
Can you repair a door or gate that someone else installed?
In most cases yes, after we have seen it. Older or discontinued equipment may need parts that are hard to find, and we say so at the visit. You then choose between repair and replacement with the facts in front of you.
What happens after the job is finished?
We test the full cycle, the sensors and the remotes before we leave, and we show you how to operate the door or gate and how to release it by hand. If something is not right afterwards, call or message the same number. For regular servicing, ask about a maintenance contract and we will agree what it covers in writing.
