Our team carried out a swing gate motor installation at a villa in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The property has a decorative double gate, and the motors let it open and close from a remote control or wall device instead of by hand. The photo shows a cream and grey double gate with scrolled ironwork across the top and cut-out panels with lattice detail. A linear arm operator is fitted on each side, mounted on the pillar at one end and attached to the gate leaf at the other, so the two arms run across the lower part of the gate. A control box and small fittings can be seen on the left pillar, and a warning lamp sits on top of the left pillar. Swing gate operators push and pull each leaf through an arm, so the installation depends on strong pillars and a stable gate frame.
