Can you repair a gate motor from another brand?
In most cases yes. We test the motor, board and sensors, tell you what has failed and quote to repair or replace. Where a part is no longer available we recommend a compatible replacement.
Should I repair or replace an old gate motor?
If the gate itself is sound and the fault is a board, capacitor, sensor or remote, repair is usually sensible. If the motor is worn out, undersized or no longer supported, replacement is better value. We give you both options in writing.
