Why does the garage door at my Al Furjan townhouse refuse to close in strong sun?

Strong sun shining straight into a safety sensor lens can blind it, and the door then thinks the path is blocked. This often happens in the morning or late afternoon when the sun lines up with one of the sensors at the bottom of the opening.

Check the alignment and shade the sensor with a small cover or reposition it slightly. Also clean the lenses and look for a loose wire. If it still fails, the sensor may be worn and need replacement.
