Why does my VDS gate stop before fully opening?

Either the operator believes the leaf is at its limit, or something stops it earlier. A power cut can reset travel settings. Friction from a gritty track, stiff wheel, dropped hinge or an obstacle may also make the board cut the motor. We push the gate manually, then review the settings and sensors. A quick track clean is a sensible first step.
