Tormax swing door closes with a bang, how can it be slowed?
Closing speed is set through the operator's adjustments. A slam can mean the setting has drifted, the door is catching on its hinges, or a part in the operator arm has worn. Wind pressure and ventilation can also push the leaf, which happens at tower entrances in Dubai. We reset speed and latching force, inspect hinges and linkage, and confirm it still stops safely when someone is in the way.
