My automatic door does not detect people. What can I check?

Clean the sensor lens, check nothing blocks it and look for changes such as a new sign or plant. Sensors can be mis-aimed or have a faulty cable. A technician aligns, tests and replaces the sensor if needed. Clean and re-aim the sensor first, then check the door settings.

A door that does not detect a person is a safety risk. Stop using the automatic mode and call for a repair.
