Is an old Dorma branded door drive worth repairing now that Dormakaba exists?

Often, yes. Many older sliding drives are simple: motor, belt, wheels, controller and sensors. Whether repair makes sense depends on condition and whether the controller or motor can still be sourced, which we cannot promise before opening the header.
