Hikvision NVR not storing footage in my Dubai shop, what are the checks?

Begin at the recorder display and look at the disk. Full, absent or failed disks account for most stoppages. Then verify the recording schedule and the overwrite option, because without overwrite the unit simply halts when full. An incorrect clock also makes footage hard to locate. A damaged disk must be replaced and earlier video may be gone. We run through these checks on site.
