Garage door slides up by hand in my villa but the motor will not lift it, what is wrong?
If the door moves freely by hand, the door itself is usually fine and the opener is at fault. Typical causes are a worn drive gear, a slack chain or belt, a trolley that has come loose from the door arm, or a faulty control board.
