Automatic doors and barriers for Dubai hotels and resorts

A hotel entrance is the first thing a guest touches and the last place a failure can be tolerated. We plan the main doors, the service entrance and the car park barrier as one job, and schedule the work around guests with the hotel's engineering team.

Hotels and resorts

Guests judge a hotel by its first door.

Hotel entrances by zone

Open the zone you are planning and see the door families that usually apply.

Lobby entrance

Sliding or revolving glass doors with sensors. A revolving door controls airflow in a cooled lobby, a sliding door is easier for luggage.

Service entrance

Rolling shutters or sectional doors for the loading and goods side.

Car park and drop-off

Boom barriers, bollards and gates with ticket or ANPR links.

Back of house

Card or biometric readers on staff doors, linked to a controller.

Where a hotel needs automatic movement

A hotel has several entrances with very different traffic. We treat them separately.

  • Main lobbyGuests with luggage and trolleys need wide, smooth, quiet opening and a sensor that does not close on a trolley.
  • Service and deliveryKitchen and goods doors take hard use and need to be robust and easy to clean.
  • Porte cochere and car parkBarriers and gates must pass cars quickly and still stop for people.
  • Spa and pool areasHumid air is hard on steel parts. Material choice matters here.
  • Night operationDoors run around the clock, so servicing is scheduled around occupancy.
  • Staff and guest zonesAccess control separates public areas from back of house.

How the job runs

From first message to handover in hotels and resorts

  1. Walk the building

We visit with your engineer, note guest routes, fire exits and where cabling can run.

  2. Written quote

Each entrance is listed separately so you can phase the work.

  3. Phased installation

Work is scheduled with the hotel and kept away from check-in peaks where the building allows.

  4. Test and training

We test the sensors, show staff the manual release and leave the door ready for the next shift.

Hotel-specific safety

  • Sensors set so luggage and trolleys do not trigger a close
  • Revolving doors fitted with stop devices and a clear escape route beside them
  • Fire and life-safety links agreed with building management
  • Manual release shown to staff at handover

We follow what your consultant and building management specify for escape routes.

What changes the quote for hotels and resorts

We never quote from a phone call. These are the things that move a written quote up or down.

  • Glass size and typeLarge glass leaves are heavier and cost more to move and replace.يرفع

  • Out of hours workNight work and phasing change the programme.يختلف
