I own a flat or shop في a tower. Who decides?

In most towers, the managing body decides what happens to the lobby and the car park. Districts like الراشدية, النعيمية, الروضة are full of such buildings. We write the proposal so the committee or manager can accept it without a second round of questions: what is fitted, where, how it behaves في a power cut and what happens to the existing frame.

I have a villa. What do I need to know?

Streets in الجرف, المويهات are mostly houses, so the job is usually a gate motor, a pedestrian gate or a garage door. The choice between swing and sliding depends on the room beside the opening and on how the gate is used every day. We measure before we recommend.

My unit is في the free zone or an industrial area

Ajman Free Zone dates from 1988 and was the first in the emirate; around it and in the industrial areas you find workshops and warehouses. Here the issue is traffic: a shutter that opens twice a day and a door that opens fifty times need different motors. The landlord may also have rules for what the frontage may look like.

What about the Corniche and Al Zorah?

Seafront hotels and beach apartments want entrances that run quietly and fail safe. Al Zorah, beside the Sharjah boundary, has a golf club, a mangrove reserve and a marina, and its gated roads and entrances call في barrier and gate work.

Salt and dust

The sea air is hard on bare steel, and dust is constant. Coated parts, tight casings and an annual wipe-down cost little and extend life.

Permission

We never claim to hold approvals في you. Our practice is to tell you who we think has to agree, whether that is a building manager, a developer or the municipality, and to remind you that emergency exit doors are subject to life-safety requirements.
