Approvals في a door or gate usually come from three places: the building owner or management, the fire and life-safety rules that apply to the building, and the equipment maker's installation instructions. We help you prepare for each and we do not claim certificates we cannot show.

Where approval comes from

Three sources, three conversations

  • Building owner or managementMost towers and communities require drawings, a method statement and insurance paperwork before work starts.
  • Fire and life-safety rulesDoors on escape routes, or linked to a fire alarm, must work with the building's fire design. The consultant decides; we fit to it.
  • The maker's instructionsInstallation and settings follow the manufacturer's manual في the equipment fitted.

Questions people ask

What approvals do I need to install an automatic gate في Dubai?
It depends on the property. Villa communities often have design rules and need management approval. Commercial buildings need building management consent. Ask your community or building manager first and tell us what they require.
Do automatic doors on an escape route need special handling?
نعم. They must work with the building's fire and life-safety design. Your consultant sets the requirement and we fit to it. We test the safety devices before handover and never switch one off to cure a nuisance fault.
Can you give me a certificate for my installation?
We give you the quote, drawings and handover record. Whether a maker's certificate exists depends on the equipment, and we say what is available.
Which standards apply to automatic pedestrian doors?
