A door that jerks, slows partway or ticks as it travels often has a stretched belt or damaged teeth. Cracks and fraying are a clear reason to replace the belt before it snaps and leaves the door stuck. Slack alone may be cured by tightening. We also inspect the pulleys, because a worn pulley will damage a new belt. - ### Quote from a photo One photo of the opening and one of the motor.
